Easts is an iconic Brisbane sports club, offering 300 gaming machines and multiple food and beverage offerings including cafe, restaurant and a sports bar. We are seeking a highly experienced hospitality Marketing professional to manage the marketing function at Easts Leagues Club.

As the Marketing Manager, you will assume a key role within the executive management team and be responsible for all aspects of advertising, entertainment, marketing and promotions. You will develop ideas and make decisive recommendations to the team.

Your ability to develop and implement a multifaceted marketing plan that incorporates food, beverage, gaming, functions, events, entertainment and branding will be a vital component of the Club’s success. An understanding of all aspects of digital and social media marketing will also enhance the marketing program.

Your recognition of the facets that drive profitable outcomes from business marketing will be demonstrated through a proven track record and actual outcomes in previous roles.

Requirements:

Tertiary education required – degrees in marketing and communications would be well regarded.

A proven record of administering business growth through means of advertising, event & promotional initiatives.

Proven experience in achieving and exceeding high level Management KPI’s.

Ability to identify and introduce key market trends relevant to the Hospitality industry.

Strong data analytical skills.

Experience in VIP gaming or other well branded loyalty programs will be greatly advantageous.

Solid understanding of digital marketing mediums, Microsoft packages, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, Photoshop and data base management systems advantageous.

Experience with creating visually engaging marketing material.

Energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for marketing and promotions.

Professional and eloquent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

You thrive on working to deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail and creativity.

Flexibility of working hours appropriate to the hospitality business essential.

While a hospitality background would be greatly advantageous, experienced marketing executives from outside the sector are encouraged to apply, particularly those with a proven track record in local area marketing and high volume/high frequency business activity.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience, abilities and qualifications.
