My client is looking for an experienced Senior ICT Systems Administrator to join their growing company.

The role is based in Brisbane, managing a small support desk in conjunction with providing higher level ICT support, planning, and implementation of projects.

The Senior ICT Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure and support.

This role comes with a wide range of responsibilities such as:

-Ensure ICT systems and architecture is aligned with industry best practices. Configure and secure internal systems and software.

-Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

-Supervise the Help Desk team to ensure maximum efficiency and SLAs are met. Upgrade the server & network infrastructure.

-Configure and maintain servers, devices, and firewalls.

-Monitor the performance of servers, software, and networking hardware. Provide support to ICT projects within the organization.

-Ensure technical documentation and network plans are up to date. Integrate new technologies into the organization.

-Improve security across the network and wider infrastructure including cloud?based providers (Office365 & AWS).

-Ensure onsite and offsite backups are completed.

-Deliver an effective & efficient solution to organizational requirements where required.

-Work effectively with the Help Desk team to ensure all ICT hardware is tracked and properly allocated.

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related information technology field Work

4 + years' experience working as a Senior System Administrator

Critical thinking and problem?solving skills Ability to lead a team to meet deliverables. Good time?management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills
